A house in Spreydon caught fire late Tuesday night.

Two people suffered minor injuries and were attended to by St John Ambulance.

Fire and Emergency crews were called just after 11PM to Bayley Place.

The street was cordoned off and power contractors were required.

Neighbour Lachlan saw the house well ablaze.

He said one person suffered smoke inhalation while another occupant hurt their head after trying to re-enter the house to get their cell phone.

He said everyone made it out safely including the occupants’ pets.
