A person has died following a crash in Castle Hill yesterday afternoon.

Police were called to a two vehicle crash on West Coast Road shortly before 4:50pm.

A person died at the scene.

In a statement, police said three people suffered serious injuries, and two others suffered minor to moderate injuries.

The road has since reopened.

The Serious Crash Unit is investigating the cause of the crash.
