Police have released the name of the man who died following a crash on Gardiners Road, South Canterbury on Saturday 15 October.

He was Jarrod Daniel Karl, 23, of Tauranga.

Police have extended their condolences to his family and friends.

Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
