A person is facing multiple charges following a police raid in Shirley this afternoon.
A police spokeswoman told Chris Lynch Media Christchurch police carried out a pre-planned search of a property on Marshland Road at about 2pm today with the help of the Armed Offender’s Squad.

One person was arrested and is expected to appear in the Christchurch District Court tomorrow on charges related to a bail breach and several other charges.
An eyewitness said earlier that a man and a woman were handcuffed on Joy Street, just metres from the property on Marshland Road.
