A 23-year-old man is due to appear in court today following an altercation with a neighbour.

A police spokesman said they were called to Wanaka Place last night following a dispute between neighbours.

One person received a wound to their arm.

A man has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and is due to appear in Christchurch District Court today the spokesman said.
