A dairy in Bryndwr has been robbed this afternoon.

A police spokeswoman told chrislynchmedia.com police received a report of a robbery at a premises on Wairakei Road at around 2.10pm.

She said the offenders left the Aorangi Dairy before police arrived.

Police are making enquiries into the incident, the spokeswoman said.

Officers were still at the scene at 4PM.

Chris Lynch Media understands a cash register was taken by the youth offenders.

They left the scene in a stolen car.

No description of the offenders had been provided.
