Police are appealing for information following an aggravated robbery involving a young person in Burnside.

The incident occurred around 3PM on Friday 18 July, near the corner of Kendal Avenue and Whitby Street.

A young person was assaulted and robbed, sustaining minor injuries. Police said the victim was understandably shaken by the incident.

Officers are seeking to identify the owner of a vehicle captured in an image released by police in relation to the robbery.

They are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or who has information about the vehicle to get in touch.
