Green Party MP Golriz Ghahraman, has been stood down from her parliamentary duties following allegations of shoplifting at a store in Auckland, as reported by blogger Marcspring.com
The Green Party has acknowledged these accusations, stating that Ghahraman will step down from her responsibilities until the issue is resolved.
The alleged shoplifting occurred at Scottie’s Boutique, a high-end clothing shop according to Phillip Crump editor of NewstalkZB Plus.
While Scottie’s Boutique confirmed police involvement, it did not disclose details.
The Green Party, in a statement, expressed awareness of the allegations against Ghahraman and their engagement with the boutique for clarity and resolution.
