Fire crews are battling a house fire in Redwood.

Emergency services were called to Providence Place at 5.15pm.

Fire and Emergency Communications Shift Manager Alex Norris told chrislynchmedia.com the initial report was for a fire involving two vehicles.

However, the flames had since spread to a single-story residential house.

Three fire trucks were at the scene, with a fourth en route as of 6pm.

There have been no reports of anyone injured.
