Emergency services have been called to the Z Energy service station in Yaldhurst following a serious incident.

A motorist driving past the scene on Russley Road told chrislynchmedia.com she noticed flames and immediately called the fire service just after 4PM.

“I could see everyone was standing back afraid the station might blow up,” she said.

Police have cordoned off the petrol station while emergency services respond.

Police have not released further information.
