A person has died and three others are injured following single-vehicle crash at Loburn, Waimakariri, this morning.
Senior Sergeant Chris Wakelin said the crash occurred about 10.25am, on Loburn Whiterock Road, near the intersection of Barkers Road.
“Sadly, one person died at the scene while another was critically hurt. Two other occupants received moderate injuries.”
The road remains closed while the Serious Crash Unit carries out a scene examination.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
