Emergency services have been called to the scene of a single vehicle crash in Linwood.

They were called at 1.15PM after a car crashed into a tree on the corner of Tancred Street and Hereford Street:

Fire and emergency crews were working to free to injured driver.

St John ambulance was at the scene.

Tacred Street has been blocked off while Hereford Street had been reduced to one lane.

A police officer is undertaking traffic control duties.
