A Christchurch woman reported missing after failing to return from her usual morning walk has been found safe and well.
Police had earlier asked for help to find Stacey, whose surname was not released, after she left her Redgrave Street home in Hoon Hay between 8am and 9am yesterday and did not come home.
Canterbury police confirmed this evening she had been located.
“We wish to thank the public for their assistance.”
Police had said Stacey normally walked for no more than two hours and her failure to return was out of character, prompting concerns for her welfare
