A house in Christchurch has been cordoned off by police after a person was hit by a car.
A neighbour told Chris Lynch Media a couple living at the house on Westcott Street in Dallington got into an argument.
One of the occupants was hit by a car at the property. Another neighbour said the property was allegedly used as a drug house.
But police did not confirm this.
The property has been completely cordoned off by police.
An officer was interviewing a neighbour when Chris Lynch Media arrived at the scene on Sunday afternoon.
A police spokeswoman confirmed a family harm assault between two people had occurred.
A person was arrested and a police scene examination was ongoing.
When pressed for more information, the spokeswoman confirmed a person was reportedly run over.
Charges were still pending.
