PNP Farms NZ Ltd is recalling a specific batch of its PNP Farms’ Butchery brand Pure Angus Beef Sausage due to the possible presence of glass.

MPI said the recall applies to products with a best before date of 17 August 2025, sold in various weights from the serve-over counter in plastic packaging.

The affected sausages were sold at PNP Farms Butchery, 84 High Street, Rangiora, and PNP Farms Butchery Bush Inn, 20 Waimairi Road, Christchurch.

The product has not been exported.

“Customers are urged not to eat the sausages. There has been a report of injury linked to the product. Those who have consumed it and are concerned about their health should seek medical advice” MPI said.

Shoppers can return the sausages to the retailer for a full refund.
