Homeowners across Canterbury are being encouraged to post their next renovation or repair job online for the chance to win $1,000 towards their project as part of a new community focused giveaway.
The promotion is being run by Link My Trade, a platform designed to connect homeowners with local tradespeople, and aims to help residents get stalled projects moving while supporting Canterbury businesses.
To enter, homeowners simply need to post a job on the Link My Trade app. Every job posted goes into a draw to win $1,000 that can be put towards the cost of the project.
Link My Trade Founder, Christchurch painter Darko Ponjiger said the idea was to make it easier for homeowners to take the first step with repairs, renovations or maintenance work that may have been delayed.
The giveaway has also expanded beyond a single prize, with additional vouchers now being offered from local partner businesses.
Darko said the initiative was designed to deliver real value for homeowners while strengthening connections between residents and trusted tradespeople in the region.
The company said the goal was simple: make it easier for Canterbury homeowners to start projects, while helping local businesses gain new work and visibility.
One lucky winner will be announced on April 6.
