Police are responding after a vehicle was located crashed on Gibston Highway, Gibston, Queesntown- Lakes District.

In a statement, police said the vehicle was located around 11:30am.

One person is due to be transported to hospital via helicopter. 

The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.

The road is blocked and diversions are in place, motorists are advised to take an alternate route.
