An Ashburton Lotto player has won $500,000 after buying a winning First Division ticket through MyLotto for Wednesday night’s draw.

The Canterbury player was one of two winners to share the $1 million Lotto First Division prize in the 28 October draw. The other winning ticket was sold at Pak’nSave Te Awamutu.

Powerball was not struck and will roll over to $6 million on Saturday, while Strike Four will be worth $400,000 after also going unwon.

Seven players each won $26,425 in Lotto Second Division. One Auckland player also won Powerball Second Division, taking their total prize to $37,888.

The Second Division winning tickets were sold at Four Square Parua Bay in Whangārei and through MyLotto to three Auckland players and one player each in Masterton, Wellington and Southland.

Players are encouraged to check their tickets in-store, on MyLotto or through the MyLotto app.
