A person has died in crash in Geraldine last night.

A police spokesperson said they were notified of the single-vehicle crash on Orari Station Road, around 8.15pm.

“Sadly, the sole occupant of the vehicle was found deceased at the scene.”

The road was closed while the Serious Crash Unit conducted a scene examination and it re-opened around 2.30am today.

Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing, the spokesperson said.
