Delays are expected on Christchurch’s Brougham Street after a truck carrying a container rolled early this morning.

A police spokesperson said police received a report about 2.45am that a truck and container had rolled between Scott Street and Strickland Street in Sydenham.

No injuries were reported.

An eyewitness told chrislynchmedia.com the truck’s cab and one trailer were on their side.

Westbound traffic on State Highway 76 was restricted to one lane between Montreal and Strickland streets following the crash.
