Emergency services have attended a two-vehicle collision on the corner of Gloucester St and Stanmore St in Linwood.

The crash occurred at about 9.40am this morning.

A St John spokesperson said they responded with one ambulance and one manager to the scene.

An ambulance assessed and treated one patient who was transported to Christchurch hospital in a minor condition.

A witness told Chris Lynch Media a car had flipped over right outside the Gloucester & Stanmore Corner Dairy.

Motorists are advised to expect delays in the area.
