Amanda Blair, at Ray White Marshland, loves being part of a growing and supportive community in north-east Christchurch.

She said what makes the area special is the genuine connection between people.

“We’ve got new subdivisions and young families moving in all the time, but what I really love is how friendly and down to earth everyone is. People still wave when they walk past and stop for a chat. It’s a great place to live and work.”

Amanda said the team at Ray White Marshland reflects the community itself, diverse, hardworking, and approachable.

“Our team is made up of people from 17 to 70. Everyone brings something different, and it works because we respect each other and have the same goal, to do right by our clients. It’s like a family here.”

She said being involved in the community is a natural part of the job.

Amanda said working in real estate is about helping people through some of the biggest decisions of their lives.

“Whether it’s a first home, a change of lifestyle or selling a much-loved family property, we’re there to help make it as easy and positive as possible.”

She said she feels lucky to be based in a place where people look out for each other and where the Ray White Marshland team is proud to help families settle and grow.
