Christchurch police are investigating a number of damaged vehicles in New Brighton overnight.

A police spokeswoman told chrislynchmedia.com police were aware of a number of vehicles having been damaged on Marine Parade near Bowhill Road.

“We would like to hear from anyone in the New Brighton area who may have any CCTV or dashcam footage from overnight or anyone who may have seen any suspicious behaviour around vehicles” the police spokeswoman said.

“We also ask any member of the public whose vehicle has been damaged to please contact Police and file a report through 105.

When a report is made, it builds a picture of where we need to be in order to make our community safer.”
