A large police presence has descended on Poulsen Street in Addington, following reports of a firearms incident.

An eyewitness told Chris Lynch Media he saw a woman threatening a man with what appeared to be a gun.

“She said ‘don’t make me shoot you,’” the witness claimed.

Multiple police units were seen in the area, with officers reportedly focusing their attention on a specific residential property.

The witness said the woman at the centre of the incident has been handcuffed by police.

A police spokesperson has been approached for comment.
