One person has been seriously injured and another has moderate to minor injuries after a crash in Christchurch this morning.

A police spokeswoman says emergency services were called to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Breezes Road and Pages Road at 8.20AM.

A St John spokesman says two people have been transported to Christchurch hospital.

Eastbound traffic on Pages Rd was blocked as well as northbound traffic on Breezes Road for a short time.
