The invitation is to celebrate together our folklore exploring the specific musical rhythms of the Balkans embedded in ten Bulgarian dances – four courses for beginners and one for advanced with two dances each. They were selected to represent the folk regions of Bulgaria, but the musical travel around the country will bring us closer to our neighbours in the wider Balkan area. We hope you’ll challenge yourselves to learn more about our culture by joining the dancing group assembled too far away from our home region by the spirit which bounds us beyond any borders. 8 Sep 2024 3pm to 5pm Fendalton Community Centre
