A person has been injured following an assault outside a block of shops in Hornby.

A police spokeswoman told chrislynchmedia.com they were called to Springs Road at 6.40PM after reports of “people fighting.”

The incident was described as a ‘family harm related assault.

A person was transported to hospital by police and two people were taken into police custody.
