Two families are mourning the loss of two young men killed in yesterday’s crash on Russley Road.

20-year-old Tane John Anderson and 26-year-old Jordan Michael Gow were killed in the crash at 6.45AM

It happened between Memorial Ave and Harewood Road.

Mr Anderson’s employer, Ezibreeze Airconditioning and Electrical, posted on Facebook that it was with utter sadness that they were announcing the loss of the company’s youngest family member.

“A great young man, gone too soon, our thoughts and love to his family and friends from all his work family.”

A friend of Mr Anderson also paid tribute online saying “you absolute legend, I always admired how positive you were, your banter and deep & meaningfuls. Until we meet again little brother. Love you always.”

In a Give a Little page, set up for Jordon Gow’s family, his friend Gareth Fleck said “Jordan is loved by so many, his passion for music truly touched us all. He was a loving father of Ashlyn, partner to Amy Jones, brother to Josh, son to Penny & Murray Gow and friend to many.”

“Jordan was the definition of a person that could light up a whole room. He was always there to whip out a guitar and get the whole room singing along, his passion for music unparalleled. You could hear his laugh and singing voice from blocks away, the energy that Jordan brought to his live performances was incredible, he always put 110% into anything music related.”

“Jordan was a natural born leader, always spoke his mind and made it difficult to ever disagree with his ideas, not only in music but in life in general.”

“Let’s be there for Jordan and his family in this devastating time, Jordan was always there to lend a hand to those in need. This is our time to lend our hand to him and his family. Jordan will be truly missed.”
