Three people have been injured in a crash in Rangiora.

A police spokeswoman said emergency services received a report of a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Lineside Road and Power Road at around 3.15pm.

A St John spokesman said they responded with two ambulances, one rapid response vehicle, and one operations manager.

Two patients in moderate condition were taken to Christchurch Hospital via ambulance; one other patient in moderate condition was assessed and treated at the scene.

“The road is blocked, however, is due to be cleared soon” the police spokeswoman said.
