Three people have been taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash on Robinsons Road near Rolleston.

St John told Chris Lynch Media it was notified just after 11:35am, sending two ambulances and a rapid response vehicle to the scene.

All three patients were transported to Christchurch Hospital by ambulance in moderate condition.

The road was partially blocked, with tow trucks organised by Police.
