Three injured after being “ejected” from car in crash

Three people have been seriously injuried after being ejected from a car that crashed in Governors Bay last night.

Emergency services were called to the crash on Governors Bay Rd at 10.30PM.

A St John spokesperson said they sent three ambulances to the scene and transported three patients to Christchurch Hospital.

They were all in a serious condition.

Crews from the Governors Bay fire station were first on the scene.

There was no word on the cause of the crash and police were still investigating.
