A teenage girl is in serious condition after being hit by a car in Bromley last night.

A police spokesperson told Chris Lynch Media that emergency services were called at 9.15 pm to the intersection of Linwood Ave and Dyers Road following a report of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian.

The intersection was blocked for a time but was cleared around 10 pm, the spokesperson said.

A St John spokesperson said they responded with an ambulance and a rapid response vehicle.

One patient was treated and transported to the hospital in serious condition.
