Police want to identify this man

Police are appealing to the public for information after a person was attacked in Shirley.

A police spokesperson said on on Sunday, April 4, after 12.30am, a person was assaulted near the corner of Hammersley Avenue and Quinns Road in Shirley.

Police are wanting to speak to anyone who may have seen the man pictured, or may recognise him.

Prior to the incident the man was seen getting out of a white vehicle which was parked at the Palms Mall car park on the corner of New Brighton Road and Marshland’s Road.

He crossed Marshlands and walked towards the petrol station there.

Several minutes later he is seen with the victim walking down Marshlands Road, stopping outside Shirley Library before later continuing down Hammersley Avenue.
