Tasman Police are continuing to search for 52-year-old Nathan Green, who was reported missing from Motueka last week.
Nathan left his home in Brooklyn about 3pm on Monday 13 April carrying a backpack, but failed to return, a police spokesperson said.
He was last seen the following day in the Herring Stream Road area, where he spoke with a person and indicated he intended to head towards Motueka. He then walked through the forest towards Rocky River Road and has not been seen or heard from since.
At the time, Nathan was wearing grey trackpants with large holes down the front of the legs and a grey zip-up hooded top. He was no longer carrying his backpack.
Land Search and Rescue teams have completed a search of the area but did not find him.
The spokesperson said police were still making area enquiries, including speaking with residents, and were asking anyone with CCTV or other cameras in the area to check their footage for any sign of Nathan from Tuesday 14 April onwards.
Anyone who has seen Nathan, or has information that may help locate him, is urged to call 111 immediately and reference file number 260414/6742.
