Rolleston is gearing up for a spectacular Christmas celebration today, with activities kicking off at 11am.

The event promises something for everyone, making it a must-attend for families and locals alike.

A highlight of the day will be the Christmas parade, starting at 2pm, featuring an impressive 55 floats.

Santa himself will be making an appearance, spreading holiday cheer to parade-goers young and old.

The event will host 97 stall holders, offering an exciting mix of food, crafts, and gifts, perfect for those last-minute Christmas shopping needs.

Entertainment will run throughout the day, with performances keeping the festive spirit alive.

Children are in for a treat with free entertainment from the magical Periwinkle Fairy and the fun-loving Silly Billy, promising laughter and joy at no cost.

Free parking is also available in the council/Synlait paddock next to McDonald’s, ensuring easy access for attendees.

Adding to the festive spirit, 10 raffles will be held to raise funds for Lions Rolleston & District. Proceeds will go back into supporting the local community.
