A man has died after crashing his vehicle into a tree in Rolleston this morning.

Emergency services were called to the single-vehicle crash on Jones Rd and Curraghs Rd just after 7.45am.

A police spokesperson said the sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene.

Jones Road remains closed while a scene examination is carried out, the police spokesperson said.
