A line fault has left 96 properties without power in parts of Aranui and Wainoni tonight.

The unplanned outage began at 6.17pm and is affecting properties on Betty Place, Breezes Road, Doreen Street and Merrington Crescent.

No properties had been restored as of the latest update.

Power is estimated to be restored by 9.17pm.

In an update at 6.33pm, the lines company said crews were responding to the outage and would begin restoring power in stages as the fault area was identified.

“Our team is working to restore your service as quickly and safely as possible.”
