Popular New Brighton puppeteer Mary McCammon is pleading for the safe return of her car, which has a lifetime of work inside.
Her Grey 1998 Subaru Impreza, with the registration number EFZ316 was stolen last night.
It had all of Natural Magic’s puppets and ‘The Magic Box’ inside.
Mary and her husband Kerry have been performing puppet shows for Christchurch audiences since the mid 80s.

The puppets are often used during school holiday programmes for children with special needs.
