Christchurch Police are appealing for witnesses to a crash in Avonside, where a person was seriously injured and the driver of one of the vehicles fled the scene.
The crash occurred at 5.40pm on 1 April on Woodham Road, between England Street and Patten Street, and involved a car and an electric motorbike.
Senior Sergeant Craig Ellison said the car, believed to be a silver-coloured vehicle, left the scene before officers arrived.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward, as well as anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage of the incident, or of a silver vehicle in or around the area at the time.
