Police remain at the scene of a single vehicle crash near Methven.

Emergency services received a report of a car that went into a canal off Pudding Hill Road at around 1:08am.

A police spokesperson said police are working to recover the vehicle.

Pudding Hill Road is closed and diversions are in place.
