Police forensic teams are carrying out scene examinations today at the house where a 16-year-old boy was fatally stabbed.
Police were called to a Medbury Tce property in Fendalton at 10.30pm and found three people with stab wounds, including the 16-year-old who later died in hospital.
A police mobile command unit has been set up near the scene with forensic teams and police detectives walking in and out of the address.
Earlier today police said the house had been rented specifically for the party.
Medbury Terrace resident Braden Ramsell said he was still in shock at what happened.
Last night he described seeing a “big party going on.”
“I was watching for about 30 plus minutes. There was some screaming and I heard a girl say “call an ambulance” and then soon after I heard “he’s been stabbed”.
He said there were lots of people were running up and down the street.
Mr Ramsell said “it’s been very shocking to witness all this, it’s a quiet street and all the neighbours are close.”
Detective Inspector Scott Anderson said police have not arrested anyone.
