One person has been transported to hospital following a water incident this morning in Scarborough.
A police spokesperson told Chris Lynch Media they were notified of the incident at Whitewash Head Road at 10.32am.
They said at the time, “Rescue efforts are underway.”
A St John spokesperson said they responded with one ambulance, assessed one patient at the scene and have transported them to Christchurch Hospital in a “moderate condition”.
