Police have confirmed a person has died following a crash in Hornby this evening.
The single-vehicle crash on Waterloo Road was reported just before 5pm.
Police initially described the incident as involving two cars, but have since updated the information.
Waterloo Road remains closed and diversions are in place, a police spokesperson said.
The Serious Crash Unit is in attendance.
