A person has died following a crash in Omarama.

The two-vehicle crash on Twizel-Omarama Road was reported to police at 10:19am.

Two others have been flown to Dunedin Hospital, one in a critical condition and the other moderate.

The road remains closed while the Serious Crash Unit complete a scene examination.
