Emergency services are at the scene of a crash on Brougham Street.

A police spokeswoman said they were called to the scene of the three car crash at 5.25pm.

She said eastbound lanes were partially blocked.

NZTA said Brougham Street between Gasson Street and Brisbane Street, is currently blocked.

Motorists are advised to use an alternative route and expect delays.

Motorists on Brougham Street have told Chris Lynch traffic has come to a standstill.

One person has received minor to moderate injuries in the crash.
