Emergency services remain at the scene of a serious crash in New Brighton.

A police spokeswoman said police recieved a report of a collision involving two vehicles at the intersection of Keyes Road and Pratt St around 7:15pm.

Traffic management is In place while emergency services attend the scene.

At least three people were trapped in one of the vehicles for a short time.

Both vehicles were badly damaged a witness said.
