Canterbury Police are investigating several incidents that took place in April and May where male victims were contacted on a dating site and assaulted when they arrived at their agreed location.
Police said several people are being spoken to and will likely face charges.
Anyone planning to meet someone they have connected with online is encouraged to take measures to ensure their safety, a police spokesperson said.
This includes meeting in a public place, letting your friends know who it is and where you are going.
Police request anyone who may have been a victim to contact them by emailing [email protected] or phoning 105 and quote the file number 230511/8926.
