A motorcyclist has died following a two-vehicle crash in Burnham this afternoon.

A police spokesperson said emergency services were notified of the crash on Telegraph Road at about 3.30pm.

A St John spokesperson said two ambulances and a manager responded to the scene.

“Our crews were not required for transportation,” they said.

The road has been closed, with diversions in place via Aylesbury, Burdons, and Wards Roads.

A helicopter was initially dispatched, but later stood down.

Chris Lynch Media understands the motorcyclist died instantly at the scene.

A scene examination will be carried out by the Serious Crash Unit, the police spokesperson said.
