Christchurch mouldy lunches investigation traced to meals left at school says investigation
A New Zealand Food Safety full investigation into the mouldy lunch scandal at Haeata Community...
The closure of McDonald’s has dealt another blow to the South City mall in Christchurch, as it marks yet another loss of a key tenant.
The fast food outlet left the mall’s food court this week.
It follows the departure of The Warehouse, which closed its store in August last year.
Chris Lynch Media understands a clothing giant was considering moving into the space vacated by The Warehouse, but negotiations fell through.
New World supermarket left the mall in 2017 in favour of much bigger premises across the road from South City.
South City opened in 1990 and was once considered one of Christchurch’s busiest malls.
McDonald’s has been approached for comment.
