Donald Trump’s scheduled conversation with Elon Musk onΒ  X has encountered technical difficulties, with users experiencing trouble accessing the live stream.

The site displayed a “not available” message shortly after the scheduled start time of 8 p.m. (Eastern Time) for some users, although more than 500,000 people appeared to have joined successfully.

Minutes before the event was due to begin, Musk posted that he was holding a conversation with Trump, not an interview, saying that “nobody is quite themselves in an interview, so it’s hard to understand what they’re really like.”

As the issues persisted, Musk said on X, “There appears to be a massive DDOS attack on 𝕏. Working on shutting it down. Worst case, we will proceed with a smaller number of live listeners and post the conversation later.”
